This lot features a Spalding road Jim Slaton 1971 Milwaukee Brewers rookie flannel jersey. The jersey exhibits excellent overall use. The Spalding manufacturers tag as well as the year and size tags are sewn into the lower left front tail. The felt "Slaton 71-42" swatch is sewn into the collar. The jersey is all original with no alterations. Slaton was a former All Star pitcher with the Brewers and a fan favorite who accumulated 151 career wins. He was 10-8 with a 3.78 during his 1971 rookie season.
