Stunning original artwork of "Mr. Hockey" himself, Gordie Howe painted by world renowned sports artist James Fiorentino. This original treasure has been signed by Howe in bold, black marker with his "Mr. Hockey" moniker and his "HOF 1972" induction year. Fiorentino is considered one of the most unique artists of the twentieth century. His skill embodies a compelling sense of realism. At the age of fifteen, James was the youngest artist to be featured in the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum for his likeness of Reggie Jackson, which hung beside the paintings of Norman Rockwell and Andy Warhol. His painting commemorating Roberto Clemente remains in the museum as a part of their permanent collection. Howe had 975 career goals and 1,383 assists ranking him second all time behind only Wayne Gretzky. Beautifully matted, framed, and ready for display. Accompanied by a Letter of Authenticity directly from the artist himself.
