Perry is a member of baseball's Hall of Fame as well as the ultra-exclusive 300 Win Club. This jersey is significant due to the fact it is from the 1978 season in which Perry won 21 games and earned the Cy Young award. This beauty shows great use , with minor fraying on the stitching and a custom cut on the collar, while the appropriate Wilson size 46 and team stitched "36 78" are in place to verify the year. Perry has signed and inscribed the jersey beautifully on the sleeve "Best Wishes, Gaylord Perry 1978, 21-6" in black marker. Fantastic jersey from arguably his best season.
