Beautiful personal model Frank Robinson R161 professional H&B Louisville Slugger bat dates to the maker's 1977-79 labeling period - and the Hall of Famer's tenure as a hitting coach with the 1977 California Angels, immediately following his final season as a player in 1976. This bat is a beast, measuring 35" and weighing approximately 36 ounces, displaying terrific patina and use from end to end, including solid ball and stitch marks, earning it a final grade of MEARS A7 from expert Troy Kinunen on behalf of MEARS. Provenance is further enhanced by a bold black autograph from Robinson himself - who adds "586 HRs" in his own hand. (Career HR total). Includes LOA MEARS with Final Grade: "MEARS A7".
