Vintage 1902-11 W600 Sporting Life cabinet of legendary Hall of Famer Cy Young. Young is one of the key Hall of Famer's from this extremely substantial cabinet card set, which is one of the highest quality baseball card issues ever produced. Cy Young owns what most sports enthusiasts consider the most unbreakbale record in all of sports, 511 career wins. This is a magnificent example of one of the most impressive of all the Cy Young cards. It is rare to find any W600 in such extraordinary condition, let alone Hall of Fame pitcher Cy Young. The card has been deemed Authentic by SGC due to evidence of a slight trim, apparently along the right border. This is extremely difficult to detect. If this card is trimmed we do not believe this was done maliciously. The card has a horizontal line across the bottom that is not particularly distracting, and otherwise has a strong Excellent appearance from the front. There is a strip of paper tape is attached to the reverse and, overall, remains an absolutely stunning card. This is an exceptionally attractive example of Cy Young's "Rookie Era" and most sought after card. It would be a significant addition to any serious Hall of Fame or prewar card collection.
