This lot features 3 vintage 1954 Buster Crabbe Comic Books that have been professionally graded and encapsulated by CGC. The 1954 issue #1 comic is graded 4, #2 is graded 3.5 and #4 is graded 1.0. Crabbe was an American two-time Olympic swimmer and movie actor. He won the 1932 Olympic gold medal for 400 meter freestyle swimming event before breaking into acting. He starred in a number of popular films in the 1930's and 1940's. He also played the title role in the serials Tarzan the Fearless, Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers. Crabbe is the only actor to play Tarzan, Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers, the top three syndicated comic strip heroes of the 1930,s. This impressive lot contains 3 of only 4 issues ever made.
