Bryan Trottier is a former professional ice hockey player who enjoyed a long and successful career in the National Hockey League (NHL). Trottier played for the New York Islanders and the Pittsburgh Penguins during his 18-year career, which spanned from 1975 to 1994. He was known for his exceptional skill as a center, and was a key part of the Islanders' Stanley Cup championship teams in 1980, 1981, and 1982. Trottier was also a seven-time All-Star and was named the NHL's Most Valuable Player in 1979. After retiring as a player, Trottier went on to have a successful career as a coach and executive, working for several NHL teams.
