This lot features a Brian Bellows Minnesota North Stars jersey from the last home game he ever played with the North Stars, a playoff game against the Detroit Red Wings on April 28th, 1992. This jersey was given to our consignor as a gift from Brian Bellows after the 1992 season in which he was traded to Montreal. It is accompanied by a hand written card from Brian Bellows himself to our consignor which reads: "Slim Trim Sun-Tanned Tim! Just a short note to say thanks for your support and for the fun times over the years. Your face behind the glass is a good boost every game. Looking forward to a good summer on the river with ya! Hope the gift I got you fits. Your Buddy- Brian Bellows". Attached to the card is a separate note from Bellows: "Tim- I wore this against Detroit last game. B." The Maska size 54 jersey shows tremendous use throughout with numerous scuff marks as well as the North Stars 25th and NHL 75th Anniversary patches on the sleeve and right chest. Bellows was an NHL All Star with the North Stars and Canadians as he scored 485 goals in his career, which ranks him 46th on the all time list. His best season was 1989-90 when he scored 55 goals. Amazing jersey pinpointed to the very last game in which Brian Bellows played in the Met Center on April 28th, 1992 against the rival Detroit Red Wings and accompanied by supporting provenance from Brian Bellows himself.
