This offering features an extremely significant 1966 Bobby Orr Topps rookie card that has been professionally graded a PSA 6.5 EX-MT+. The 1966 Topps Bobby Orr rookie card is among the most coveted hockey cards in the entire history of the hockey card galaxy. Orr had all the skills from a very early age with superb speed, phenomenal stickhandling, and out-of-this-world defensive prowess. Orr revitalized Beantown's zest for hockey much in the same way that Eddie Shore had sparked it generations before. When asked during Wayne Gretzky's peak who NHL General Managers would prefer to start a team with Wayne Gretzky or Bobby Orr, it was a 50-50 split. Many purists prefer Orr over Gretzky to give put things in perspective as to how great Orr truly was. A tremendous example that would fit in very nicely with the most prestigious card collections. This beauty has very little to discount from being one of the nicest examples in the hobby. Only a few points centering stand between this card and a Near Mint to Mint plus designation.
