This spectacular offering features a 1957 Topps Bill Russell Rookie card that has been professionally authenticated and graded in PSA 8 NM-MT (mc) condition. This treasure features 4 sharp corners and gorgeous picture quality which is rare for this Topps issue. Most of the Russell rookies you will see have snow white specs on the front of the card making the aesthetic appeal undesirable. This example was given the mc designation by PSA due to it being miscut by Topps, another common occurrence with this inaugural Topps basketball issue. Spectacular high end example of Bill Russell's rookie card worthy of attention from the most serious of card collectors. The last PSA sold at auction went for $30,700 in June, 2018. Bill Russell rookies are in such high demand even though they are scarce in availability. Only 46 examples have been graded by PSA with only 5 earning a higher grade than this treasure.
