Beautiful 1961 Orioles home flannel jersey worn by actor portraying O's pitcher Jack Fisher as he serves up Roger Maris' 60th homerun, tying Babe Ruth's "unbreakable" season total. A pivotal moment in this celebrated film, a DVD offers an unlimited number of photo-matches for display and provenance. Absolutely exact in all details to genuine 1961 Orioles flannels, consultant Sportsrobe, Inc., would win many awards for wardrobe featured in the beloved film - not only in terms of authenticity but conveying the essence of the era. It's obvious why. Very little authentic *61 material has ever made it to the hobby. The movie "61" starred Barry Pepper as Roger Maris and Thomas Jane as Mickey Mantle on their quest to break Babe Ruth's 1927 single-season home run record of 60 during the 1961 season of the New York Yankees. The film first aired on HBO on April 28, 2001. Originates directly from the Sportsrobe archive, with exec LOA accompanying.
