This lot features a Babe Ruth 1933 Goudey Sport Kings card #2. The 1933 Goudey Sports King Babe Ruth is listed as one of the top 250 sports cards in existence. This impressive example remains in remarkable condition given the fact that it is nearly a century old. The cards measure appropriately at 2-3/8” by 2-7/8”. We submitted it to be professionally graded thinking it may earn a grade of VG-VG-EX but it was said to be "altered" as they cited evidence of trimming. While the card is indeed authentic it did not earn an actual grade. It remains an attractive specimen nonetheless and remains one of the true treasures in this hobby.
