This lot features an attractive vintage black and white 5x7.5 photograph of Babe Ruth posing with the Big Bayou youth Baseball Club in 1927. The photo was taken during spring training in St. Petersburg, Florida in 1927 before his monster 60 home run season. The 1927 Yankees are considered to be the greatest team ever assembled and this was the Babe's greatest season. Babe Ruth has penned his name in large, bold, blue steel tip fountain pen. This lot is accompanied with a JSA/James Spence Authentication Letter of Authenticity. The reverse of the photo lists the players from the Big Bayou team. Very unique vintage Babe Ruth signed photo.
