This lot features a rare vintage 1973 New England Patriots helmet lamp originally owned by Arnie Garber. The lamp remains in nice condition. Garber played fullback and linebacker for the Boston Patriots in the American Football League (AFL) in 1960 and 1961, before the merger between the AFL and National Football League. He was also the long-snapper on those Patriots teams. In 1985, Garber joined the Racine Gladiators and coached the team until 2002. He was an assistant coach for five national championship teams – 1988, 1989, 1992, 1995, and 2001.
